Christy Clutter

Christy Clutter is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah interested in the intersection between immunity, metabolism and global health priorities such as neglected tropical diseases and malnutrition. She earned her PhD at the University of Arizona studying the gut immune system and microbiota in the context of autoimmunity. She then went on to take a governmental fellowship with the New York City Public Health Laboratory where she took part in disease surveillance, outbreak response and international laboratory capacity building. She is currently happily at home in Utah blending both of those research worlds.
